What the state requires

YES. Beginning with incoming freshmen in the Class of 2030, all HIDOE students must successfully complete a financial literacy educational opportunity prior to graduation. It is a HIDOE ADMINISTRATIVE requirement, not a separate credit added to Board Policy 102-15.

Class of 2030 (incoming freshmen); schools are ENCOURAGED but not required to have Classes of 2027, 2028 and 2029 document completion as well. School year 2026-27.
